GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES
Rubbish & Recycling
We provide plenty of bins to separate compost, recyclables, and rubbish. Please leave cardboard boxes next to sulo bins. Compost is to be disposed of in the bush away from the dwellings. Ensure bins inside are emptied before checking out. We take care of removing rubbish and recyclables, but groups who don’t recycle properly will incur an additional fee.
Sheets, Beds, Sofa Beds
Guests MUST use fitted sheets on all beds throughout BBR – management will charge a cleaning fee if your group doesn’t follow this. Sofa beds must be in their original upright position & additional bedding packed away where found.
Smoking
Under no circumstances is there to be any smoking inside dwellings at the retreat & anyone that does smoke should be responsible with their butts. If there is a cigarette butt found on the ground after your stay, there will be a total loss of security deposit.
Fires, Firewood & Gas
We provide firewood free of charge from Mar to Sep. Please be conscious of the amount of firewood used & work required to replenish our stock. , firewood from house 3 is not to be used for the outdoor fireplace at house 1. Outdoor fires, besides in the outdoor fireplace, are not permitted. If we discover outside fires, a firewood levy will apply. Your group must assign a firekeeper to ensure fires are extinguished at the end of the evening and upon check-out. Do not leave open fires unattended.
Moving Furniture & Decorations
Feel free to move our furniture, but please put any items back in their place. It is best to take photos of our setup before moving any items.
Nothing is to be attached to any of the walls throughout the retreat, and inside the yoga hall, bluetak and sticky tape remove the render and paintwork - if this happens during your stay, it will affect your security bond. If you use decorations, please remove string, rope, whiteboards, paper, confetti, balloons etc.
Booked Space
Only use the specific accommodation and space booked. The yoga hall is a designated space; therefore, please do not use this space or try to access it unless you are with a yoga retreat. No food, drink, candles or shoes are allowed in the yoga hall for retreat guests.
Repairs, Emergency Work & Breakages
Whilst we will endeavour to have any urgent repairs fixed ASAP, it is harder to organise tradespeople last minute over weekends. If you notice any non-urgent repairs, please let us know. If there is any breakage or damage during your stay, please let us know before or upon check-out.
Departure
Please leave BBR in the same state as you found it. Dishes packed away, bins emptied, fridges emptied and clean, ovens & BBQs clean, and a general tidy up before leaving.
Upon check-out, please take all your belongings, equipment, props, and food. Ensure all lights, fans, and air-con (yoga hall) are off and any fire is out, turn off all BBQs and gas heaters, and close windows. Yoga props are packed away neatly.
If BBR is left in an unacceptable state, it will be at the discretion of management to return the security bond.
